Upload your CAD or mould design
Send us a drawing (DWG / DXF / STEP / IGES / STL / PDF, up to 15 MB) with your requirement notes. After PO we run a paid sampling round with the matched foundry or forge; only on your sign-off do we release bulk production.
Our casting & forging capability is built for custom components. Share your CAD files, technical drawings, or samples, and we will match you with the manufacturer best suited to produce them.
Our team reads drawings — material, tolerance, heat treatment, surface finish, and standard. We push back on suppliers who quote something the drawing doesn't allow, which means fewer surprises at machine-side.
- Accept DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, STL, ZIP and PDF drawings — up to 15 MB.
- Paid sampling after PO; sign-off before bulk.
- Materials: grey iron, SG iron, carbon and alloy steels, stainless, non-ferrous.
- Machining to IT7–IT8 routinely; IT6 where required.
- Coatings in-line: zinc plating, HDG, powder-coat, epoxy.
Payment terms: 100% advance for standard orders. Custom casting & forging requires paid sampling after PO confirmation.
Why buyers source casting & forging from India through Mech Bridge Global
Mech Bridge Global sources custom castings and forgings for global buyers who need components produced to their exact drawing, material, and finish. Casting processes covered include sand casting, shell moulding, investment casting, and centrifugal casting in grey iron, SG (ductile) iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Forging processes covered include drop forging, press forging, and upset forging in EN8, EN19, EN24, 42CrMo4, SAE 1045, stainless steels, and non-ferrous alloys.
Weight class runs from a few grams for precision investment castings up to ~50 kg for drop forgings, with post-processing options including heat treatment, machining to IT6–IT8 tolerances, surface finish down to Ra 0.8, and coatings (zinc plating, HDG, powder-coat, epoxy). We serve automotive tier-1 and aftermarket buyers, construction hardware, industrial spares, and industrial pump/valve manufacturers.
The standard flow: you share a CAD file (DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, STL) or drawing; we shortlist the right foundry or forge for the material and process; after PO confirmation we run a paid sampling round; you approve the first article; we release bulk with per-lot inspection reports. Sample lead-times are typically 3–5 weeks; production 6–10 weeks depending on the complexity and post-processing.
DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, STL, and PDF drawings are all accepted. A scanned hand drawing with dimensions is also fine as a starting point.
After the PO is confirmed, we take the sampling amount up-front. The matched foundry or forge produces the first article; we share dimensional and material reports plus photographs (or the sample itself); on your sign-off, we release bulk production.
Grey iron, SG iron, carbon steel, alloy steel (EN8/19/24, 42CrMo4, SAE 1045), stainless steels, and non-ferrous alloys. Casting weights from a few grams (investment castings) up to ~200 kg for larger sand castings; forgings up to ~50 kg.
General machining routinely holds IT7–IT8; precision work holds IT6 or better where the drawing calls for it. Surface finishes down to Ra 0.8 are standard.
